Yayas’ Waterfalls Panama

Yayas' Waterfalls is set of three waterfalls was christened alter an old legend about three girls — or yayas, as they were called — who used to be seen by early settlers bathing in these waters. The waterfalls rise up to 5, 15, and 25 meters respectively, and the highest of the Yayas can be spied on from a nearby lookout point. A thick 100-meter high canopy shelters the Yayas, protecting visitors, and resident amphibians and birds from sunlight.
